I know this is too much for the MacBook Air and that the MacBook Air should only be used for research, writing papers, college, and business. I'm on a deskop so battery life is a non issue. I switched to safari, the difference in speed and is very noticeable. My point is their is a reason for it.

It's NOT my firewalls. After a successful no quibble restart, the address bar has seized to operate as one. It does it most often when playing videos, but otherwise seems pretty random (since I'm always on the same sites anyways). Did you have the same tabs open in each? I like using FF, but this is getting really old, and as seeclear's posts reveal, the usual fixes don't seem to do anything, and it's been doing this for too long... Why? Check This Out Something is fundamentally flawed between OS & hardware.

everytime when I open several windows, my computer got stuck and died. No html5 so Chrome is by default my browser for that. I've been using Mac OS since version 7, what we have access to now blows all it's predecessors out of the water in my opinion. this contact form Great work with OS X, what a platform.
Of course I'd be happy if someone has some tricks up their sleeves and would like to share. So it looks like the Mac will be a one off and there is no real choice but to use Safari. Would a screenshot of activity help?
