I went into the /etc/cron.weekly/ directory and executed the sarg script to generate weekly report. I believe it will give you a definitive report on the errors and tell you how to fix them. Any suggestion / help would be greatly appreciated. I downloaded the sarg package from this link: http://pkgs.org/centos-5-rhel-5/flexbox-x86_64/sarg-2.3-2.el5.x86_64.rpm.html Please assist me in figuring out the problem. - i realize that other people is putting their access_log as access_log /var/log/squid/access.log/ but anyway do i need to point the apache to listen to port 8080 instead?
before dansguardian was working i also analyzed with sarg and it would categorize all of the users by ip address which was very useful. previously, i had sarg pointed at the squid access.log instead of the dansguardian log and it worked fine but the problem is that, with dansguardian working, every user ip address was Just starting out and have a question?
