Trying the install in safe mode shows it hangs while loading CLASSPNP.SYS which is the next line after DISK.SYS.
When I ran the Windows 7 install inside of xp, the partitioner only showed the formatted partitions, and not the unpartitioned spaces. I could not find my original boot disc, but I tried running off of a Windows 7 Upgrade disc that I had, which I assumed would work the same. Not even case fan is attached to motherboard. Ask away. In safe mode, the pc freezes when it hits "disk.sys". When it boots from hard drive, I get the same errors.
