if there is any weakness in the memory it will shoe up during the installation. I do a complete fresh install of the XP SP3 machine using a SP3 disk. How long have you tried leaving it alone??? If the folder is missing or the files that it contains are zero bytes, the CD-ROM was not burned correctly. And I can't find out anything about...anything as long as I'm stuck in setup every time my computer turns on. I successfully used this CD to install Windows on an earlier version of Parallels on our Mac mini.
