When I first put the motherboard in, it froze at the windows Welcome screen, right before going to my desktop. I deleted usbport.inf, forcing the installation to skip over it, but it's still freezing. It has the tools to do this and will run a mini version of XP, so ensuring that your machine is compatible. Can anyone help ?

If you find the mode is set to AHCI Emulation Mode, change the mode to IDE Emulation. I really apperciate it! This will usually let you get by the XP problem. Plus, just do a simple format using the command: format c: leaving out any switches.
